Contact via phone or text preferred; PM is ok as well but I am not on board often.

If the ad is up, the bike is available. I prefer to show the bike on weekends only.

Bike is in Hutto, TX just north of Austin, TX

Bike had a clear Texas title in my name. Registration is not current since I never ran the bike as a street bike.

I used this bike for instructing with Lone Star Track Days initially, then decided to race it with CMRA in 2015.

I did fairly well racing with CMRA. Bike was raced with CMRA in motard class, Solo 30 lightweight class, Superstock D.

2015 Motard and Solo 30 Lightweight Class Season Champion
2015 Superstock D Class season 2nd Place

Suspension setup by OROR for 200 lb rider

Bike had one low side accident headed out of Turn 4 at TWS. All repairs done by On Road Off Road (OROR) in Austin. That’s the only time it was ever down.

LSTD retired operations from motorcycle track days and I haven’t had time to race on Sunday’s with CMRA (when the classes this bikes runs in are held) much anymore. I went ahead and ordered new plastics and installed them on the bike so it is ready for street use. I am also including the OEM plastics I raced with so you can easily convert to track ready to race or for track days (see pics).

This is a well-kept bike maintained by an experience older rider that understands my equipment must be in top shape for me to come home each weekend after racing. I did not skimp on anything.

This bike will not disappoint. This is the hard to find 2009 SMC model. Do some internet searches and you’ll see this is THE 690 to have.

Upgrades include GPR stabilizer, Full Leo Vince Pipe, EVO II Cam, rocker arms, K&N pod (air box eliminated) with battery relocation for better weight distribution and Vortex ECU with 10 different maps from mild street to race. This eliminates fly by wire throttle control for instant power delivery, also eliminates a problem these bikes have with dying at idle that these bikes are notorious for.

Bike has expected axle and foot sliders. It has rear bobbins for rear stand use.

Aftermarket seat covert that is VERY comfortable.

Take off parts including air box, cam, plastics, etc. and some other stuff included. KTM satchel case with manuals included as well (see pics)

One note: While racing at NOLA in the heavy rain, the speedo/odometer LCD malfunctioned. This is a known issue. I have not fixed this as I prefer the buyer knows the true history. I can show you the mileage the bike had when I bought it, and I have one work order that shows mileage at 2,538 in 2016. The bike was only run a minimal amount after the NOLA issue. I would estimate the mileage is easily less than 4,000 miles. On rare occasion, the LCD will briefly function then fade out.

History of items purchased and worked performed below. I did my own oil changes after race/track day weekends.

Receipts of over $3,000 in upgrades and maintenance receipts that will be included with bike.

You did "fairly well" racing?!? The way I hear it, you pretty much owned the Motard division! No need to be so modest.

I'll try to assist with pics later today

I tried to use the links above. They are all Facebook links, which apparently eventually expire? Anyway, if you use the "Attach images" button, that will never be an issue.

Thanks. Yes, they were linked from FB and they tend to go away after a set amount of time for some reason.

I can't upload them as the files are too big.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll send pics.

I can't upload them as the files are too big.

Really? How big are they? I've uploaded some pretty large files without any problems.

I upped the limit a bit more, around 8MB per image. To get more than that I will have to change server settings.

Sorry, I got busy and am away from my home computer that has the files. I believe they were 5.4 MB. I will try again when I am home this weekend.

Leeroy, is this bike still for sale?

If so, you should be able to edit your original post and upload images. All those Facebook links went stale.

The originals were 5.4 MB and too big. Finally got around to resizing and will attach (hopefully)
