If it takes a chicken and a half a day and a half to lay an egg and a half, how long does it take for a grasshopper with a wooden leg to kick all the seeds out of a cucumber?

On the bonus pie run, do you have any plans set up yet for areas you are going to ride? Thinking about doing this ride.

The plan is to cover as much as possible without pushing things.
Departing from the May pie run we should get up there Sunday afternoon in time to set up camp and run up to and through the dragon and back.
Get up Monday and run up the dragon and cut over and ride the cherohalla parkway up over the mountain to Robinsville for lunch and pie and then do some exploring. Tuesday loop up to pigeon forge and ride the coaster loop back around the back side.
Gotta work in the blue ridge parkway.

You camping at the Iron Horse?

last year we stayed at the kick stand lodge. very laid back place. got a pond full of piranha!

Bonus pie run is on the wrong day. Needs to be Tuesday so it's possible to take a fun ride through northern AR, MO, KY, and TN instead of some lame direct route.

Edit: Unless you're being *really* lame and trailering to the Dragon...

I rode last year while FF trailered. As it turned out, FF needed the trailer to bring his bike back home.

I'll trailer up this year if FF still has room for a third bike and ride back at the end of my vacation.

well Jeff did finnish the conversion of his dune buggy trailer to a motorcycle trailer and it is much wider.
I have been debating if I want to ride, the new radiator weighs a full pound more than the thin as paper (and prone to popping) stock radiator. probably could shoot it and not leak.

I've turned in my vacation request and figured out my route. I'll be riding out, leaving Thursday night and hitting as many twisty roads as possible between here and there. I'm scheduled to say in Alcoa on Sunday night, so I'll be doing a Dragon run in the morning to meet you guys for pie. I'll hang out on Monday doing whatever you're doing, then Monday night I'm staying in Cherokee to do a full BRP run on Tuesday and Wednesday, then I head home from Virginia via Kentucky and Missouri.

I have a friend from New Jersey who is meeting me in Alcoa to ride the Dragon and the BRP, so I'm +1 for bonus pie.

Looking at what's left for the year I may try to make the Menard run. The rest are out of range for a single day ride from here. I would have to be rolling by 5:00AM and go the direct route slabbing to get there for lunch. Would have to find a room to stay over and could have a much better backroad ride home on Sunday.

Ed there is the chance that there will be camping the Friday before any of the Pie Runs and you are welcome to join in.

South llano river state park?
There are a couple motels in Menard.
