Thanks. The upgrades/add-ons make a terrific bike into a truly great one. I just have too many bikes and at 75 years old, I just can't ride as much as I used to. Time to trim the herd.....

I'm just not riding this anymore since I have 3 other bikes, I'd consider trades as well as offers............................

I've admired the Nortons since I was in school back in the 60's. Couldn't afford one then & too old to enjoy it now. Sort of between the "rock" & a " hard" place...

Appreciate the attention however. Thanks.

Well, the reason I'm ready to sell the 71 is that it is kick start only. My other 2 are kick/electric (1973) and electric start (1975). (But I will be adding a kick start to the electric only bike to get it closer to stock)

And I have wanted a Commando since the early 70s when I was in high school. :-)

Beautiful bike and well farkled. I just got a KTM 1290 SDGT on a whim but I'm not sure how I'll fit that bike in the long run. Will find out soon enough. Not sure if the ergos on this bike would be better or not. But from strictly a looks perspective, it's a winner.

I had one of these, same year, similar mods. Awesome bike, it's a rocket ship, handles and stops very well. I may be the only human that didn't find the stock seat to be a torture device.

the seat looks lower than stock on this one. I'm a corbin fan having owned at least 15 of them over the years on different bikes. Just usually like stock seat height for ergos on my bikes as I'm a little over 6'.

I sold one of my other bikes last week so decided to drop the price on this one and perhaps find that "elusive" buyer.

I have a new bike on order for delivery in the Spring. I need the garage space .

Thanks
