Who's moving up? Who's coming back healthy? Who's riding for what team now? What new teams will there be? Who want's it the most?

Sure would like to see the MX finals to end up like the SX season ended - Deagan over his head stalling and falling…. the Honda brothers in 2nd and 3rd. Ken Roczen — Tomac or Sexton on top.
 
Kenny will only do a handful of races that he selects, saving himself for the SMX playoff rounds. It'll be down to Jett, Hunter, Hayden, Eli, Jorge and Chase.
 
The Coenen brothers are coming to America for a few races this year. Their plan is to race here full time at some point, but looks like they will be racing at Thunder Valley in June. Lucas rides the 450 and Sasha on the 250. I try and watch the Euro MX races as much as I can, and most of us watch the MXDN annual races as well. I would say on a good day that Lucas is as fast as any current 450 rider on the planet (outdoor MX not SX) and that includes a healthy Jett Lawrence.

The Lawrence boys, the Coenen boys for hopefully three races, Deegs, and maybe Eli will still have some fight in him, who knows. Prado maybe? Could be fun this summer at the Nationals.
 
Man, did you guys see the weather they had up at Red Bud yesterday?! Hopefully it all calmed down enough overnight and remains calm today for some good racing, but not sounding great so far. Should be interesting!

🚨 Aaron Plessinger released an update on his condition following his first turn crash ⬇️

“First off thank you to everyone that has checked in on me and well redbud did not go as I expected.. It’s such a bummer to go down like that without even a lap in. I ended up getting a decent jump out of the gate and going down in the first corner and as soon as I hit the ground I got hit from behind, It tore my pants and gave me a nice cut right on my tailbone. The guys over at Alpinestars Medic unit got me cleaned up, stitched up and on my way, I want to thank them for that. As much as It sucks im glad it’s not worse and I’m glad nothing is broken. Gonna get this wound healed up and be back as soon as I can. Thank you everyone for your support! Hoping this black cloud I’m under passes by soon.”

stitches on the tailbone from either a tire or a part off another bike is a hard lick!
Hate that for AP, he’s had a too long run of bad luck injuries fer sure.
 
Hopper does a good analysis of Jett's ankle problem, and he's mostly correct. I've had ankle injuries before (and even stiff new boots) that don't allow for ankle flexion, allowing me to NOT depress the brake without having to lift my foot off the peg. Had to lower he peddal, then slide forward a lot to brake. Not sure if that's completely what the deal is with Jett, but it still doesn't explain why he's lifting it so high (?).

Aaron is having a tough season for sure, and hopefully he'll recover soon and be back for a better stretch of luck.

I have to lift my foot to use rear brake because of my funky knee. By end of a long trail ride it's a pain.
 
Forkner retired, probably a wise choice.

Yeah, sad to see, but probably for the best. My wife always blames Jett for killing Forkner's career; says he was never the same after the Jett cross jump:

I saw, I think on faceplace, that one of the Monster girls lost her life in that Venezuelan earthquake. There was no mention of it at Red Bud that I heard.

Then again fakebook reported Alan Jackson died.
This stuff just pops up as I'm looking for fishing reports, motorcycle groups, or local news.

That is horrible crap for someone or some "thing" to report. Whoever is responsible for putting that crap out there ought to go straight to you know where.

OK, nuff of that, believe I'll take another look...........~grin
