2026 SMX schedule... including Houston!

Hope they all stay healthy/recover completely for the outdoor season. Should be a good one!

These guys are so hard to figure out....
Kenny- just played back into the mix.
Sexton- nothing to lose looked great, for now.
Malcolm-never know with him.
Eli-either he's done and just cursing or somethings wrong. Last 2 weeks a shell of himself and still gets the RED PLATE! Go figure.
Prado-king of starts=new Alessi! lol
Hunter-looked like a squid last night?? Lucky he didn't get hurt.

Those whoops were testing everyone 😬

Kenny is my guy, so maybe a biased assumption, but I that with a better start last week, he'd have won that race. He still went from 16th to 2nd! This week, he had a better start (5th) and won, proving my point. I think he is only getting stronger, and I'm praying this will be his year. Sexton is going to be the "spoiler" for this championship, as he's showing good speed and starts, so it's still going to be a guessing game. This last race just showed once again, how easy and quickly things can change, and why I've never been a betting man, LOL.

Makes me wonder if Sexton wasn't really injured and took time off to get the bike sorted. Either way he was fast and almost caught KR.

From listening to his pre and post race interviews, I think his "recovery" was as much mental as it was physical. Sounds like he was really working on his mental attitude as well, and seems to be more at peace, and not just constantly trying to blame it on the bike. Maybe he's seen how calm and happy the older guys like Eli and Ken are, and the mature, even emotions of the younger Hunter are, and how it's helping them to perform so well. He's always had the physical build and natural speed, but his mental game has not been there when he's not winning. If he's got that figured out, he'll be dangerous for sure!

physical build and natural speed,
He's got the tools, doubt he ever reaches the heights he could have. When he's on he's dominate. Remember his last to first charge that day, even with Jett there.

Random Detroit 450 SX thoughts:

Prado rides a wide bike, is a great starter, and the other top riders are showing no patience when passing him. It becomes an issue when you take yourself out too, with an aggressive pass attempt like Cooper Web tried. Cross Webb off the list of potential series winners this year.

Even the best and most consistent riders are not immune to adversity. It could have been even worse for Hunter.

Everyone is trying to figure out what Eli's issues are. Getting passed by Justin Cooper and basically just letting him go by is not the Eli we all know. I say maybe the new has worn off all the excitement of switching teams and loving his new bike and he is dealing with being one of the oldest riders in the field of a very young man's sport.

Mookie finally feels better after the Anderson incident at Anaheim where he broke his scapula. Also any race that has a whoop section that separates the riders like the one at Detroit did, Mookie will use that to his advantage and he did.

Sexton could be the wildcard in all of this. If he is in the right spot mentally, he can be as fast as any rider in the field.

KRoc--what can you say? The last few weeks he has pushed through all his known issues. He does not fade, he is getting good starts, and he is avoiding calamity. He made up a massive amount of points in Detroit, but he has a ways to go and really no margin for error being 14 points down. How can you not root for Kenny? He is the People's Champion and it would be as celebrated as much or more than any SX series winner ever.

Thought Deegan was on his bike for a minute!
. It could have been even worse for Hunter.
He's still in good shape if he stays out of more trouble

2 lackluster weekends don't look good, even with red plate.

Would be fine with me.

Interesting take on Tomac. Time will tell.

"I honestly don’t think there’s anything overly wrong with Eli he’s historical been off then on all his career, he’s never pushed when uncomfortable then crashed hence why he’s lasted so long (as in crash rush then crash again) which we often see .. faster Lap then Hunter and fairly later in the race.. .. I’d say he’s just lost that special comfort which means when he’s on he’s unstoppable .. look at his previous seasons this is nothing abnormal and this is an Eli 6 years ago!! Roczen was Awesome and nobody is saying what’s wrong with Hunter.. It’s high level on a tough track I wouldn’t be surprised if Eli wins next week.."

worried about Tomac,
It's either the bike or the body, and I thought he looked kinda sickly on the gate when the tv showed his face before he put his goggles on. His eyes looked tired.
But.
I'm grasping at straws probably.

He also hung a tuff block with his foot a couple races back. Birmingham I think.

Just hard to say. I mean 5th with those guys ain't dog meat. And he shares the red plate still.

Yeah but he ain’t sittin in the saddle like he has been.
By his standards, looks like he’s riding a gold wing through the corners.
