Heading to Sam Houston National Forest this weekend. Should be riding into the area around 7:30PM.

Anyone know if the camping at 208 is any good?

What's 208 OHV like?

Kelly's pond is not far away. It is a designated for primitive camping, has toilet, picnic tables and an OHV trail head with a trail to 208 trailhead. Stubblefield campground is near 208, has running water and restrooms with showers, but you are not allowed to ride non plated bikes in that park or between the park and the trails. Street legal dual sports would be ok. 208 is just an ohv parking area with toilet facility. It is not very level. Depending on traffic 208 may be a little small for camping if camping is permitted. there.

Always call SHNF before you haul to verify if trails are open.
