Not sure if this is the right place to post this but it's not a gun so here goes.

My buddy, his son, and I are cancelling our trip to Austin for the F1 race. So, we are selling the three GENERAL ADMISSION tickets (wristbands, actually) PLUS the parking pass (lot F) for $717.

Open to offers.

This is the right place. Sorry you wont make it. Might be the last one.

I heard the track is getting rough, lots of little bumps. That could be why but not sure.

What seats are these? General admission? If not you'll need to post Turn, section, row and seat#'s so people can evaluate your offer. Also, what parking lot is it?

They lost the 25 million that Austin was giving them. Miami has a 10 year contract with F1 that starts next year.
That's sad. Can track survive without Moto GP and F1? Seems bike were extremely upset.

I've only been to each once but still this makes me sad. Maybe NASCAR and Indy can keep it afloat.

Thanks. Good points. The wristbands are general admission. I'll edit the post.

I'll have to ask my buddy about the parking, he bought the pass.

I hope I can afford Nascar tickets, as I've never been to one. My bro in laws are doing a practice race at the end of the month at COTA so I guess I may get to see some lovely Porsches run the track at least.

Not a nascar on an oval track fan, in fact, have availability of free tickets at TMS this weekend but am passing. That said, I think it's fun watching them on road courses and really think it'll be a show at COTA so I intend to head down there.

BTW, for those who haven't been to F1 at COTA the GA tickets offer a lot of good vantage points to watch and it's a spectacle. Bring a little chair for the grass and expect to walk a bit and enjoy the people watching.

Absolutely no offers. My buddy, his son, and I might end up attending if we can't offload the tickets. Or, just take the money hit if we continue to be nervous about covid and decide to skip it.

Is $717 the face value?

I'm not sure you made it clear you were open to offers. I have no interest because I already have tickets but others may be swayed a bit of there was a special value opportunity.

Yes, face value. Tickets were $189 each and the parking pass was $150.

I've not been hanging out much in TWT so not sure of the rules in regard to being able to state that offers would be considered.

On the COVID front:. I did MotoGP a couple weeks back. Spent all of race day in the grass at t6. I had a bleacher seat, but it wasn't a better view, and was a lot more crowded. Getting in and out was a zoo, but once in, you could be fairly distant. I've never done F1, so I don't know how the crowds or general experience will compare...

If weather is good the F-1 crowd will be bigger, plus you can get covid germs from all over the world, lol!:duck:

The crowd will be MUCH bigger. There's talk they even added 20K seats because demand was so high. If you walk around the concession areas it'll a-hole to elbow and unavoidable. If you're worried about covid and crowds then this will be uncomfortable.

cota on the calendar with asterisk for contract pending. There's hope.
