3d Printed Chain Slider?

I'm swapping out all the chain slider, rollers, and such on my wr250r. It's got me thinking: would a 3d printed chain guide/slider work? Has this been done before?
I worry that most plastics including PLA would not withstand the heat and friction for very long.
Any opinions/experience with this?

... don't see why not.....

back in the day I appropriated the wifes cutting plastic board one time to make a chain slider for my 1992 LT250R Quadracer when i was racing GNCC and did one season on quads before realizing it was much easier on my blown out L4-L5 disc's in my back to stay on bikes :D
