DAL/FTW: 3rd Saturday Breakfast South of the Metroplex

We banged out 100 miles before breakfast and rolled in a few minutes late. What time were you here, Tim?

-Jeff

Sigh, 3rd Saturday breakfast coincides with 3rd Saturday trail work at the local MTB trail. Hope you guys had fun while I was pushing a mower through dense overgrown weeds trying to get this trail reopened.

Which trail is that, Jasen?

That's looks pretty cool. I may have to haul the Trek out there. Hopefully, we'll see you once you get those trails groomed.

Is breakfast happening this week?
Hi Jasen,

It happens every 3rd Saturday. Unfortunately, I am riding motorcycles in Spain and Portugal, so can’t make it this month. Due to current circumstances, I also forgot to send out the reminder.

See y’all in October,
Jeff

Unfortunately I'm riding in Spain and won't be at breakfast. Really? Somehow I doubt that. Lol

Jeff is a world traveler.
Yes and I somehow feel his is not really feeling bad he is missing breakfast in TX right now.
I do really miss all the motorcycle events and people in the Dallas area now that Iv moved to the Jasper Ar area.
There just are not any local riders up here so even though I live in premium riding country I ride a lot less.

Hoping to move up that way, inside the next year.
Not sure where I'll land, but always down to ride!

Al lot depends on how rural you are willing to live.
South of Interstate 40 is high humidity. We looked at mena nut is you go there june-august you might as well be in Houston or south Louisiana
The gulf moisture is blocked by the mountains.
If you like city conveniences I'd recomend Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers area.
Or for a more relaxed retirement area mtn home is really nice for fishing and has a lot of entertainment to offer.

My Gal is a sailor, she’s been eyeing those lakes up north. We’d like a little mountain home, little shop to keep me from chasing her around the room!! 😛
Done with the heat!!

Well let me know when you start looking up this way. You are welcome to spend a couple days here. We have a full walk out basement with 3 bedrooms, bathroom and large living area. We love visitors. Particularly the riding kind. Lol.

It's 3SB time again! This time sunny with temps in the upper 50s!

I will be recovering from a surgical procedure, so likely not riding to this breakfast, but there are a couple of rides planned for after breakfast.

One is on the backroads to Waxahachie for the Oktoberfest & Car (and Bike) Show at St Joseph Catholic Church. The second is a nice route to a big car show in Walnut Springs.

See you at Tio Tony's!

I am a probable this month since I will have a brisket on the smoker. If the smoker temps are stable, I will step away long enough to join in the breakfast fun.

See you at Tio Tony's (probably)!
