If you ride 455 west of Sanger you'll be happy to know that the road construction thats been going on the past few months from Slidell west to 51 has been completed. Great surface, speed limits back to normal and even the speed limit through the short stretch through Slidell has been raised from 35 to 45 mph.
 
Good, but I'm bummed they took out the best piece that zig-zagged through the river bottom and back up.
