Looks like you guys had a blast! Great report. One minor comment--the first lunch stop was in General Bravo, not in China. Both have a restaurant with the same name, but we were at the one in General Bravo.

Quick follow up; prepare to heartbroken chaps, Ivonne was soundly defeated in the Gubernatorial race for Nuevo Leon. Jaime Rodriguez, the charismatic rancher otherwise known as "El Bronco" running independently of the national parties garnered a runaway 25% lead over the PRI candidate.

Lots of cheap vinyl signs are now for sale.

Poor ivonne !! She had the looks and rich well connected family or friends with deep pocket interests BUT not Lady Luck on her side this time around. the PRI have had their fill of century old socialist dictatorship and the PAN thou have a slight less socialist view is still the least worst of 2 evils, Nuevo leon might, MIGHT be in for better times ahead but if it weren't for the strong US drug demand that keeps Mejico in turmoil. And until that demand is resolved, the PAN is best for the paid off law and order that keeps Mejico in overall ck, the poor will continue to be poor, the aristocracy will continue to rule, and the middle class will....( well there is no middle class ) in said country. But for us riders, it benefits. Cheap travel expense and the poor we meet are happy to take our pesos.

Here is a lengthy video of our trip south of Iturbide. Almost took a mud bath this trip. I noticed a lot more vehicle traffic on this day and we soon found out why when we ran into PAN political rally.

I wanna go so bad! Probably (definitely) not this fall, but I'm already putting irons in fires, and planting seeds for next spring.

I may get to ride with a buddy that's originally from Arkansas, (now lives in corpus). He's taking his annual trip there (AR) and plans on hitting WPG

It'll be around July 4. I'm gonna try to talk him into pushing it back a week so there is not as many people. Campgrounds are fullll

No, I was starting the bike. It's a little too tall for me, so kicking it while on the stand helps
