78 Honda CT90 hanging on

old guy cruises our neighborhoods that i worked with years ago comes around when he has bike problems.
worked on his trail 90 yesterday. what a mess, but got it running again. anyone have a spare carb boot?

If its still pliable, you might super glue it. Then carefully slip it back on the carb. We join o-rings that way.
 
I think I'd use rubber cement to glue the crack back, then cement a cut piece of inner tube over the outside of it to reinforce the repair. It'd be airtight and work fine, sort of look like you meant to do it that way ;)
 
Lightly coat it in a rubber conditioner to help keep the rubber pliable, then do like mr72 said.

When the nuclear apocalypse comes, the cockroaches will be riding KLR650s and Trail 90s. Keep the oil changed and they will run forever.
 
I am heading out to the country later today, I have a box of old CT90 bits and pieces from the K0 and K1 models. Let me take a look, see if I have anything.
