Yes, it was. While my KTM 300 XC was resting at home in the garage. I'm maybe the only one that is more comfortable and confident on an XR than a 300. I do love that 300 motor though...

I followed that guy a lot. He is business like in his riding (that's experience) and I wonder why he has paused, then, boom, he's gone and I'm failing to keep up.

Those were the days! 35 and 40 years ago now, WOW where did the time go?

My one and only motocross trophy. On a 1977 Honda XR75 at Mosier Valley.

Fantastic. I’ve ridden mountain bikes with Kevin a couple times in Austin. At the time I had no idea who he was until one day after a ride, where I nearly edged him into Barton Springs, one of the guys in our group said “you know who he is right?” I said “yeah, Kevin.”
