We drove , we camped , we ate , and we rode . All of it was awsome , 38 degrees two mornings . Pictures are worthless when you watch pro trials riders , I wont waste your time , you have to see it to believe it . Maybe some photos will show up later . They dared me so thats my ride report . SEYA

I forgot , we changed tires too , I blew all four tires on my trailer . If you have goodyear wranglers toss them after 10 years regardless of how good they look . SEYA

Are you at least going to tell us where you went?

North New Mexico , National trials at Sipipu and riding the hills around Red River . SEYA

Cagiva had an awesome setup for camping and cooked some of the most tastiest grub I have ever had while camping. I am at work right now but I plan to post the pics after I sort through 7 days of stills and video footage. Just wait until you see the footage from the trials man those guy's and gal's were incredible. It was a pleasure to spend a week with David (Cagiva 549), Hardy Baker and Steve (Desmo). Cagiva knew the area and showed us some of best riding I have ever encountered.....more later.

Saterday afternoon riding from Sipipu to the canyon over the mountain north of Red River would have been a lot more comfortable with electrics on . I want to go back . I closed my shop and came in the house when the temp reached 100 degrees at 1:00 pm this afternoon . SEYA

Re: A week of low 40's With several great friends.

The highest temp I saw at out camp, which was at nine thousand and fifty feet was seventy nine degrees one afternoon. One other thing there wasn't much of, at that elevation, was oxygen. Did we ever get short of breath. David, what was the temp. of that pot, that the sweet corn was boiling in, 180 degrees?? Now Bryan and Steve, don't talk too much, or show too many pictures of our gourmet meals that David did, cause some of the single women just might try to occupy more of David's time that we may be willing to share. Now David, don't forget your old buddies here.
I really can't say which was better, the camping and eating. or the spectatular riding in the mountains. The trails competition, at the Sippapu ski resort, was truly un-beliveable. Folks, if you haven't seem these people going over obstacles on a motorcycle, thru creek beds, over logs that are five feet high, I could go on and on, but, your just going to have to see it, in person, to believe it.
More to come,,,,

My sister owns a cabin 7 miles up the mountain from Sipapu...awesome place. There is a BMW (I ride Hondas & Kawasakis) rally there the weekend after labor day-lots of fun.

Here are some of my pics...I am still working on the rest of them.
Loading up the KLR and the BRP at Steve's to head up to Gatesville to meet David and Hardy.

Ahhh... much better!!! I've done some street riding out in that area, VERY nice! :rider:

I LOVE that part of the country. I've never ridden there, but I will one day. We didn't get to go out there this year, and I'm feeling the loss. Every 100 degree day I feel the loss some more. Altitude is your friend in the summer.

Sounds (and more importantly, looks) like you had a great trip.

Thanks for posting up Brian. :thumb: The last time I saw David's pics of another trip they were still on his camera. :haha: Reading about everyone's trip reports & seeing their pics definitely makes me want to go on a bike trip (staying on the blacktop of course.) :rider:

Very cool pics db! Looks like y'all had a great time:rider:

You have to get dirty to see the good stuff , if the rest of the picts dont make everybody want to buy a dirt bike your hopeless . Some day I will learn to post photos but it will take a teacher with lots of patience , I can make my bikes purr but this typing stuff sucks . SEYA

Here is a short clip of one of the insane trials rider that I taped, check the balance of this guy.

I still have a bunch more to post, I started uploading your photo's so I can post the huge herd of elk and that beefed up mule deer.

I think they were looking for the ADV throne, I will post a pic of that bad boy in a few. For now here is another clip of the same rider but on a different section of the course at the trials competition..
