ADV riders in Georgetown / surrounding areas?

I see a lot of riders on Africa Twins, Transalps, a couple of the V-Strom 800's, another 2 Tuaregs, and of course a lot of BMW's in Georgetown and very close by very repeatedly but never seem to see anyone on any of the threads nor going on ADV rides. Is no one interested in small group exploring in this area?

Sun City in Georgetown. I ride a 1250 GSA and do pavement as well as ranch roads etc. lets talk
 
Im up in Jarrell. I do alot of rides west of me. Gravel, loose pavement and fun paved roads.
 
Cool cool! What's everyone's availability look like? I work M-Thu so I ride pretty most every Friday but I'm open to the weekend as well! Prefer KSU times, start points?

I too prefer the unpaved roads, though not many are left. Good curvy backroads are great as well. I'm not big on long straight roads, get's boring quick.
 
I've also done some ride-to-shoot and ride-to-fish days that were fun. I've just recently started to learn fly fishing, so I'll be taking my tackle with me if I'm solo.
 
Would anybody like to meet up tomorrow at the Dahlia cafe in Liberty Hill, say about 10am? Maybe do a ride for the day and plan some others. Liberty Hill seems to be kinda of in the middle of where everyone posted.
 
Sorry, too late notice! Would really like to, but the wife's list has been planned out for me.
 
What do you think the weather forecast is going to turn out like. Right now there's rain for Thursday and Saturday.
 
I've got to survey the hurricane damage at the house tonight and see how many days of cleanup I have. Leaving at 4:30 this morning I saw 5 trees split in half.
 
I might be able to host a ride friday morning. When i get home I'll post the route and time. Mostly pavement and a fun little section east of Jarrell. Apparently I need to pick up a battery too. Ill post this evening
 
If there is any interest meet at Starbuck in Jarrell at 0900 Friday morning., KSU @0915. Just under 2 hours depending on pace. Slight variation on the way back, basically ride out to end then turn around and ride back with some slight changes on the way back. Mostly pavement with some rough patches. If any interest I can show you gun nuts Staccato ranch on the way out. I would go longer and show another part of the route that goes out to Buchanon Lake just past Burnet but I'm taking my son to his first movie for his Birthday

Screw the trees, there's a lot more to cut and haul than I can handle. I'll have to hire it out.
