Great ride Sander- we cut off North loop out of Rock Springs due too one rider's time constraints, still plenty of riding. Came to one water crossing, had to search for road, finally saw metal posts marking road-anyone know what creek that is?

This Ride was Amazing Sander, The ride back to Austin was long but easy, when up 83 then 39 following the Guadalupe River. The big KTM made it okay can be heavy off-road and feel like riding a Bull, but it easy on other surface. I would really like to ride and go single track with a little one like 350cc, saving money for this.

Nice to ride with everyone, can't wait for next time.

Yes as always, Sanders puts some good routes together. I had a blast again, and really enjoyed the group of guys! I am working on a tail bag for my 690 that might stay on the bike. Second one that had decided to go elsewhere, and not stay with the bike. Thanks to the BMW rider for picking up the bag for me. And thanks Simon for the bungee chord.

Yes the 1190 is pretty heavy. I am selling a bike to get a little one.

Here is the Deep Spot, Where the DR650 when in, the front wheel was all the way in, I am glad we got the bike out and no one got hurt,

BLUE safe area

Wish I could have made it, looks like y'all had a blast. I started out to make at least to breakfast and actually made it to Bandera but my wife called and reminded me of an event we had previously planned. maybe next time. Thanks everyone for all the great pictures.

Pretty rough, cleaning the bike yesterday I notice few bolt missing that hold the front fender, I might have to lift the bike and look at the wheel rim. Part of the fun

The bend could have also been caused by the angle iron at the edge of some of the cattle guards. I've always wanted black rims...

I heard about https://www.buchananspokes.com/ for years. I would rather have someone locally do the labor, kind of a lost art. I want to replace the both rims and spokes. I've heard of having a bicycle shop true the rim.
I bought a complete rear set of spokes from them for my china bike and re spoked it my self. Cheap original spokes and bent them up. Probably not correctelly tentioned in the first place. I cheated and did the spokes one at a time so I didn't get lost.

It not to hard thing to learn the lost art, there is a pattern to follow and if you are patient doing it and can be useful afterwards. I bought some rims and spoke & nipple kit from the Buchanan place when a rebuilt this old bike 1965 161cc
