The knee pads came loose in my AD1 pants. I've had them for several years. Is there a preferred adhesive for reattaching the Velcro rectangles, or just use anything that's flexible and sticks to nylon? The Velcro itself seems fine.

when my pants did that, i contacted aerostich, wanted to get replacement velcros. they took my address and said they'll ship me replacement patches free of charge. i bought my pants 2nd hand. the velcro patches I got are iron on. heat activates the glue.

Aerostich will stand behind them for sure. I sent them an old suit with a couple of busted zippers. I paid shipping and they did the zippers for free. Still wear that suit.

They’ll say you’ve overridden the number of days for Texas is why they’re coming apart.

I would send suit to Aerostitch for an overhaul. They do great repairs. My R3 is good for about 40,000 miles (with a lot of on off as I commuted every day before retiring). Lots of on/off definitely affects all inner surfaces
