Any opinions of AF1? Looking a picking up a Touareg 660 and they are the closest dealer that has any available.

They are a really good dealer. I've been taking bikes to them for almost twenty years now and at three different locations. They've been at their current one a long time now. If they have what you want I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

I bought my Tuareg from em. I believe they are the biggest Aprilia dealer in the states, run the Aprilia forum (and participate in the conversation), and have a dyno and know how to use it.... In other words: yeah, they're good

Yeah I agree with all this. AF1 racing is the only dealer I will actually buy anything from. Fortunately they are also the Triumph and Vespa dealer so I'm in good shape.

or, in his case, off motogp . 🏁

I have known Ed since he first opened up in Round Rock, got to spend more time with him and his team when he was in New Braunfels have not visited with
him as much since the move from South Austin to North Austin

But truly a dealership for enthusiasts

They really helped me out and lobbied the HQ folks for me with a one year old lemon Moto Goofy Stelvio NTX I bought while it was under warranty. I really like those folks.

I bought a 2010 Triumph Tiger from them when they were on maybe first Street near downtown Austin in a much smaller building. That was at least ten years ago. The bike was used and had a weak battery. They replaced it free.

They dyno setup my RG500 many years ago, very happy with the service back then and still hear nothing but good things about them.

That's gotta be one of the first Tuareg Rally's in North America. Well done!

I've got an Aprilia and have done business with them for parts and key replacements. Ed's a solid guy and knows his stuff. He's always replied to my emails and been super helpful as well as informative. No complaints from me and I will continue to deal with them so long as I have the need.

Wow, in my many decades I haven't seen that many scooters in total. They must be a "thing" in Austin.

I don't think they are, but we do have one of the biggest college campuses in the country in Austin. There are a couple of scooter dealers down around the campus. Off campus, scooters are extraordinarily rare.

In Cedar Park, NW Austin suburb population around 90K people, I think about 50% of the scooters in this suburb belong to me.

The showroom there is impressive, I was glad I had decided on the Tuareg before I got there, it would have made my decision difficult after seeing the Triumph’s and Guzzi’s 🤩

I bought a 2010 Triumph Tiger 1050 from AF1 in about 2013 used. They were located in downtown Austin on East 1st or 2nd Street. They had lots of scooters then .
