AMSA ride day back on

It was I was at CZ sponsored day and he showed up with his kids and his Husky. Saw the CZ's and came over to check them out. Shook hands with all of us and took a few laps on a 400 next to my old friend Brian Fox.

I rode around and looked for ya'll but didn't see ya. Pretty good turnout. It was slick in a couple of places on my first loop but lots of fun. I only did a couple of loops then headed back to the house. Coming out of some of those corners then hitting the straights one could REALLY grab a handful of throttle and start ripping it. 😁 In the tight woods the great turnout started producing some deepening ruts so I figured it was time for this old Harescrambler to call it a day and head home to TravelDiva. Took a couple of pit pics, I'll post them up later.

No worries. Probably just timing. Yeah, there were a lot of people out there. That sure is a great place to ride. I miss riding in dirt like that!

55 miles of that and I'm betting it got rougher later in the day. 👍

Anyone follow this guy? Heard he did pretty good!

Saw him in the parking area only. Saw a big bike in the trail on one of the laps. DR 650 maybe. I think I saw an 1190 on its side on another lap.
Lap wasn't hard, just fun.

"I dropped in behind you at the start of the loop and you surprised me with how well you were going through things on that big bike ( had to wait and pick a place to go by you because you were rolling pretty good!). I pulled over a couple miles in you came around first in front of a big pack of riders. Well done!"
Quote from a friend of mine.

Seems to me like we used to have 4 ranches that would do this each year. Did we loose a few of them?

Being in Austin you know better than me. AMSA and Steve Cardwell do this stuff, probably more Steve than anyone. They'll probably still do Geortz, maybe Powell's. And they might still have access to that property in Leander.
