I was getting my 6K service today at Lone Star BMW and I run into Jamie who had been recently infected by the GS bug, he said, thanks to Donnie (FJRTEX)...

Fortunately for Jamie, they had a the perfect prescription, we did not have time to get breakfast tacos after a test ride, as he was busy providing autographs...

Congratulations to Jamie (jar675) on his new ride!

Yep got a baby GS there not too long ago. Really liked the yellow GS they have there but it is too tall for me. Great new ride enjoy it. There is a dinner just up Lamar on the left called Ross' for good breakfast.

I knew it wouldn't be long.

Holy cats! It's starting to feel like that movie with the seed pod people around these parts. Every time I turn around folks are changing to BMW's instead.:help: :thumb:

Congratulations Jamie. Very nice wheels.

Now there are two Germans in the garage to keep Wilbur company.

At least I don't have to ask to borrow it. In our house, first one to the keys gets dibs.

I've been looking but not looking for a while. I contacted Lonestar about a different bike that was already sold. They told me about this one that just came out of service and was ready to be listed for sale. Rusty went by and checked it out Friday, I made the deal Saturday and had a great ride home.

That's right, I rode it before Jamie. :trust: I hear he was at Lone Star before they open with his face pressed up against the window.

It is a very clean GSA and other than a Sargent seat and a gremlin bell  it is bone stock. All of the BMW options though, right down to the tire pressure monitors. Was glad to help out and check it out.

yall are an insidious lot. Hardy Baker put me on his RT Sunday and turned me loose.
Just a small taste is a dangerous thing.
Felt like piloting the mothership.
I love my wee. I love my wee. I love my wee. I love my wee. I love my wee. I love my wee. I love my wee. I love my wee.....

So you loved your Wee and accepted a test ride...
It may take from a couple of days to a couple of months and we will get to see what you choose!!! :)
