I did it a few years back with Rsquared and Jfink. We had fun, but mostly doing riding other than the actual event ride. We did enjoy meeting other riders though and the banquet was fun. I would say you'd probably have the most fun if you stick to a 650 or smaller bike so you can ride some of the more technical stuff. We arrived a few days before and did a nice over night loop West over to Silver City, US 191 up to Alpine, and then running a bunch of dirt back across the mountains to ToC.
