Arkansas BDR premier. April '26

I watched it tonight. I am guessing I have ridden 95% of it over the years.

I'll be riding this on my way to ride the Montana BDR - June-July
Looking forward to this - I've ridden several BDRs and BDRx - never
been disappointed.

That sounds like a trip of a lifetime. Congratulations.

This might sound like a dumb question, but what the difference between a BDR and a BDR-X? Does the X have more dirt?

BDRs typically go end to end across a state and connect to the next states BDR . BDRx are loop rides that are shorter and designed to be done in less time.

Yes - BDRs are end-to-end and BDRx are loops; however don't discount BDRs (for now); I usually
ride, I usually ride 1 or 2 days of a BDR then turn around and ride the same route in the opposite
direction, so I get back to may camper. Also if I see something interesting, then I may wander "off-course".

The ride back is just as interesting because you see different things and the route/trail also
is different (you are now going up hill instead of down, you're crossing a section from a different
angle etc etc).

Being a solo rider, I feel more comfortable being relatively close to my base camp.
