Got a flat on Mopac so ran too late. I'll see if I can catch up at Castell

The group I was with started with 5 and swelled to 7 by the end of the day.
The weather was perfect for riding.

Our first break. While we were here a nice man driving a golf car stopped by to chat. I saw more people on these backroads today than I've seen in the past year combined. I'm sure the opening of deer season and the nice weather had something to do with it.

Keyserville Road was a lot of fun. It had just enough sand to keep things interesting.

Looks like a great time, sorry I missed it. When the boss who just bought you a new truck asks for a favor, you say "yes" :)

Hopefully I'll see everybody in December.

So, are we riding on Saturday? Its pretty quiet around here.

I was planning on it. I haven't actually looked up the ride on satellite, how much of the ride is gravel vs pavement? I think Lime Crick Road itself is paved...

If all goes well I plan on riding Saturday.
Just need to know if I need to bring my goggles. (any dirt roads on this route?)

Riders,

The monthly Austin ride is on for this Saturday and the weather is forecasted to be nice.

This month's route includes the famed Lime Creek Road - the twistiest road I know of in this part of Texas.

The route is only 146 miles long and is all pavement.

As usual, see the first post in this thread for all the logistical information.

Pretty sure I'll be tagging along. Will pickup the group in Bee Cave. 71@ 620 Exxon on that corner. Any places to eat scoped out?
