Simon! I am glad it was just equipment my friend! I had a terrible accident riding my bicycle on 6/1 ended up with broken collarbone and surgery. I am out for the summer but I guess Ill see you guys in 3-4 months. Hopefully my T700 will be here by then! I was just reading the NMBDR report and I am looking forward to doing something similar next year!!

The rider behind had a black box camera kit and he only saw dust cloud. it would have been cool because I really got catapult and Run & Roll on the farmer road. I am really glad I am ok and was able to get ride back, This bike is pretty solid
Rob, Sorry about the collarbone, The one thing you are going to be ready to ride the 700 when the weather get nicer and easier to ride for a all day ride 100F can little crazy after 4hour.
The bike is all back to normal, I am just waiting for a mirror & hand guard the crash bars and the muffler.got a fresh coat of paint, The touratek is junk, if someone need the hardware let me know
If I get me hand guard and Mirror this week I am Going to ride the Center Point ride Saturday 18.
Can't wait to Meet everyone again on on first Tuesday of the month,

Does anyone know the route for Spicewood on Saturday? The link with GPS details seems dead. I’m looking to take my DRZ out for the first big ride this weekend and I’m wondering how Dripping Springs to Spicewood is 132 miles. I have a stock tank on and want to make sure I can get a top off.

The route passes through Round Mountain twice (going out and coming back) and also through Johnson City and Dripping Springs. There is gas available in all three.
Hey Guys, I had a great time riding with you all this Saturday. It was a great shakedown ride for the DRZ. I found a leaking counter shaft seal that I get to work out now. I look forward to the next ride, next month!!

I just realized it is almost that time of the month again and I haven't ridden with the group in many months. Think I will try to make it this coming Saturday, looks like James River loop.
