Nice day ride today, went to Spurger Tx. To the knife store, they have thousands of knifes. Kinda unusual for a small town in east tx. Then to a beautiful state park, Walnut grove. On lake Steinhagen. (Dam B) then Bach home, nice three hour ride.

Remember being able to walk into almost any hardware store and seeing a nice knife display? Remember being able to carry them around pretty much anywhere without having to worry that you were going to be forced to dispose of it on the spot or hike back to your car to leave it? I used to love having a basic pocket knife on me when I was a kid. It came in handy so often... even when I wasn't doing something I shouldn't have been doing :-P

I still carry a knife daily, only two places that have not allowed one in for me has been Astros baseball games and Supercross races, I can understand it to a degree as you have large crowds many emotional about their favorite team or rider and the availability of Alcohol (never cheap enough to become impaired in my opinion but as witnessed many disagree)

I carry my knife everywhere. Never saw a sign that said I couldn't have it on me. Never had anyone say anything. Well, the nice TSA (Taking Scissors Away) lady said I would have to take it out of my bag and leave it with her, but other than that, I have experienced no restrictions.
