Bastrop to Dripping Springs Dirt Route?

Just wondering if anyone has ever reconnoitered such a route.
 
'Reconnoitered' scared me at first, but then I realized it was undeleterious.

Good luck . I see no way. Maybe 50 years ago. Have gone to Paige then north of 71 back west but the dirt roads all go to asphalt over by Fedor. Thorndale to Milano then North has a lot of gravel. Gravel Guy had a 200 mile loop mostly gravel. Maybe he will post it. Even going south of Bastrop I see no way.

Yeah, I figured it was a long shot but I had to ask. I have family in DS and thought it would be cool to jump off in Brookshire(family there too) and traverse as much dirt as possible south of Austin to DS.
