Big Bend Trip in April

My brother and I are going to ride around West Texas and through Big Bend in April. We plan on staying overnight in Van Horn, Marfia and Sanderson. I am looking for recommendations for lodging in those towns or near by. We do not want to camp, reasonable hotel/motel with bathroom, shower and beds.

I have looked online and there seems to be plenty of options, just wanted to hear from people with personal experiences.

I've stayed in Sanderson once, not much to do and the Oasis was a little run down for me.

Marathon gas the Gage, stayed there once, was very nice.

Also, the Marathon RV park and Motel has some really nice cabins. Really enjoyed the stay there. They have a pavilion with a fireplace that every body gathers at and swap lies.
