What was the air temp like up on the pass?
4 degrees Celsius...
So what is the story on the old rock buildings on the pass?
This region was the frontier between Italy and France...
In the past, Central Europe was not as peaceful as it is today .... Many mountains and passes in the Alps and the Dolomites used to be heavily used by the military - and unfortunately many people died there. These are two ancient fortresses well before the First World War
