BMW K1600 WAY HOME - GERMANY

The last two days are all over Germany - after 12 days and 4480 km the last gentlemen arrive safely at home. In total, over 1000 liters of premium gasoline were burned and 4 sets of tires were in urgent need of renovation.
Every day, every km and every drop of fuel was used joyfully.
At the same time, this was probably the last long tour on YouTube with the K1600. Due to some annoying shortcomings in the newer K1600 with EURO4 approval from model year 2017, our group is now starting to switch to other models and brands. More on that in the next few weeks.

Planning and guide: Ralf "Hightower"
Rag rammer: Hans "MacGyver"
Images: Andreas, Hans and Ralf
Passengers on the K1300S: Kay, the Pinneberger and chocolate lover.

Music: Many thanks to Kai Hartwig, whose music goes very well with our battleships. https://www.hartwigmedia.com

Nice trip that brings back memories. Those Relive cut-ins are pretty cool. Surprised to see that ya'll didn't use a comm system to communicate with each other. It's a totally different experience and pulls you out of 'isolation'. Missing your group photo : )

Hello, I'm glad that you like the film.
The majority of us drive a Shoei Neotec II with Senna SRL system - the systems are designed so that they fit inconspicuously in the helmets. However, you are right - everyone listens to their own music while driving, so we take a short break after 90 minutes to drink, smoke and chat. We think that we should concentrate on traffic and road while driving.
Ralf (front) and Hans (back) are connected via cell phone if necessary - but more for security reasons if something should have happened.
