Breaking News: AMA National Hare And Hound Coming To West Texas

Looks like TSCEC liked the way y'all took care of business!

Thanks to Family Powersports and several other sponsors, I think we had enough swag to give every single Mini rider something on Saturday. Not just the class winners, but every mini participant. There were some happy little kids!

There is a core group of LTR members that really steps up and works hard to put on the best event possible. Mother Nature did us no favors this year but the riders who enjoy a true test seemed to really like the race.

Johnf3, did you see this picture Cole had of pro start? Leader on the pegs leaned over!

Yes sir. Was right there in person as I drew Sweep Crew duty for the first 40 miles right off the start. Our bomb start was too short to do a mass (all classes combined) start so we waved them off in rows. I think we waved off six different starts, so that was cool to see.

So, the rider you are seeing is Kendall Norman, who also won the whole race on his Honda 450 X. The H&H Pros are incredibly fast, like you have to see it to believe it. I have been in and around National Enduro Pros, but this is different.

The National Hare and Hound Staff did an amazing job helping to promote our club and our race. They are really good folks and we hit it off pretty good. Go to the the National Hare and Hound Facebook page:

Here is the blurb from Dirt Bike: https://dirtbikemagazine.com/kendall-norman-does-it-again-in-texas/

Cycle News has a full story on the race in this week's digital edition.

Tons of pictures of our Texas race last weekend on the National H&H facebook page. The West Coast riders seemed to love our place. They were blown away that we ride on 13,000 acres of private land. They don't have another race on anything like that.

The race director gave me a yellow caution race flag with the Caselli 66 logo on it. Made my whole weekend as you know that Caselli was my all time favorite off road racer.

To wrap this up, here is a well done recap of the Pro class from the National last weekend. Watch to the end and check out the shout out to the club--The Lubbock Trail Riders. Nice to hear some positive feedback!
