I've got a friend from mountain biking, who's long wanted a street legal bike. He's looking for something like an xt225 for around $1k. I know it's a long shot, but I figured I'd post here. Trying to reel in another potential rider here :)

Yeah, I owe him a few favors I'm sure.
We're both traveling a lot, but San Antonio, Austin, and College Station.

My brother has a 1994 XT225 3500 miles. Excellent condition. He's at $1800 FIRM. DM me if you want his contact info. It's in Mckinney.
 
He might look into the old xr350's, they can be had fairly cheap. Or even an old xr600

Those xt350’s are awesome bikes.... like most dual sports back then they had amazing motors and little suspension.
