I think the online ticket ordering time is over.

I saw Justin's talk at 3:30. Well, I was a little late.

He did well. His video's weren't working, but that's ok, nobody goes to a live event and wants to see video. Bought the Utah map. Might have to give it a try this summer.

The first time I was going to talk to them at their booth there was a hippy in a tie dyed shirt in front of me

they did seem to stay busy there

justin is now off to long beach, cali for the next one.

Big news! We will be riding the Ozarks shortly and hope to have a regional map out by the summer. Alot of you asked for one and we listened.
Soooo many great roads in that part of the country!
Thanks everyone.

thanks.
yeah the weather is gonna be a big variable.
any sources for great dirt routes in the ozarks?
thnx

Mr2mch knows probably all the roads, even if he doesn't like riding dirt
DRZCharlie on ADV and Ridedualsport.com. I've never met him but he lives in AR and has offered to show me around. Seems very nice.
Simmons1 here on TWT has been several times
On ADV look up the SLAP Rally - held on dirt in NW AR. DrLewell (?) has also offered to show me around. The people up in that part of the world are super friendly, pavement is great, dirt is great (but can be very challenging), food and lodging is good and cheap. Its nice up there.

There are just miles and miles of forest roads up in NW AR. Not sure about MO.

Just bought the WABDR maps and video, am now itching to go ride it.. 600 miles of mainly off-road, hope to do it in 3 days on my CRF450X, once the weather turns a bit nicer.. South Washington to North Washington, suddenly made me realize how small Washington is compared to Texas!! :eek2:

BMW National Rally in Llano Apr 13-15 2012

I'm planning on attending the BMW Rally in Llano this weekend & will have all my stock of Butler maps with me. I'll give folks a RALLY DISCOUNT PRICE on any of them. My trip there IS weather dependant though....

Rally info ...

UPDATE AFTER....

The rally in Llano this past weekend was pretty laid back. The storms prob kept some folks away....I kno it sure sent some home early! I stayed Sat night & the storm kinda fizzled so Sun was great. Big fish fry & BBQ Sat evening by the Llano Fire Dept. GREAT FOOD FOLKS!!

Sold a few maps too.Met some folks from Roll The Bones rally at the motel later Sat night & we rode all day Sun. Not much rain...all done while eating breakfast. Wound em round all the good stuff & ended up in Comfort.Headed north at 4:45 !! Home at 8:30 with one 15 min stop for a bbq sand & over 200 mi. !! Flowers on Altus-Davis Rd east of Willow City were some of the best yet. One of my favorite "short cuts" to Fburg. I'm gonna try to do some more rallys offer the Butler Maps. Thanx to Hap Hazard for plantin the idea of coming.

Just purchased two Butler maps from Rod at the Medina pie run yesterday. The maps are superb, packed with excellent content and specific road reviews. I like the fact they are waterproof and resistant to tearing too!

Tony Huegel http://www.backcountrybyways.com/ was the key instrumental person in producing the ID plus also helped out with UT. He is an ID guru!

Tim Bernard & company http://www.happy-trail.com/ also helped out greatly with ID. They are ID ADV touring gurus.

Cole Boehler http://motorcyclingmontana.com/ was instrumental with the MT map. We sell now his book too http://www.butlermaps.com/Motorcycle...g-Montana-Book
Awesome book & highly recommended package for anyone traveling to MT.

i'd also like to thank everyone who helped me identify remote gas stations for the maps.

thnx Bill Eakins
