Camping at Inks Lake

I spent 2 nights at Inks Lake State Park this week, to collect 7 sites for the Grand Tour of Texas.

Had a good time - no trouble with the bike, picked up all 7 sites I had lined up.

Met a very nice couple from Ft. Worth at the camp site. They are fellows saints of the living God. Nice visit with them.

Got honked at by some geese in the state park.

Had good chow for lunch Monday and Tuesday. Thankful to God for a safe and productive trip.

Went there a few years ago for a young men's church campout, nice place, and we went canoeing to the Devil's Waterhole.
I jumped off the rock there into the water (like 30-35 feet).

Inks lake has always been a favorite. If I recall, there's a cool overlook point on the way out.

Lot's a nice scenery around there.

Longhorn Caverns is also up that way. Neat little cave system.
