I have always wondered how accurate these cheap testers are?
That said, I ordered one, since I am about to do the fluid on my bike anyway, just to see what it is at.
Also let me compare the front and rear (front is 2 years, rear is about a year), as well as my cars (which are all at least 5 years old).

I'll second this little bit of advise. It's a real easy maintenance task to skip... are the brakes working? Yes? OK, fluid must be fine. I bought a 2019 bike this year with what I think was original brake fluid. The bike lived in Houston and was ridden 300 miles in 3 years. The brake fluid was SUPER crusty and nasty.... but only in the lines. The fluid in the overflow reservoir looks clear(ish) and not really that bad.

Most brake fluids are Hygroscopic, meaning they attract and retain water/ moisture. They for sure should be changed at regular intervals. Get an idea of how to do it or mistakes can be costly, your vehicle can be on the wrecker going to the shop to get the air out with their fancy high dollar electro gizmos. For the most part never let it run dry while you do this maintenance. Yes most of mine are over due also.
