This helps me especially when the bike is laid out flat. I bought this at Walmart in the camping section, I wrap it around the Pannier rack twice and snug it up to store it. I unsnap it to make one loop to pick up the bike, this way I don't have to get so low, it really does make the bike easier to pick up for me.

Good idea. I usually have a couple of those on the bike incase I need to strap something down.

Indeed.
I've intended to do similar, but use a long strap I can toss over my head/shoulder so I can squat the bike back into position and not need my second hand.

I never thought about that, might be worth a try

The lashing strap over my shoulder will allow my legs to have less bend (and push harder) during the initial lifting period and not require my hands to tug as hard on odd bike parts.

Thanks, Monica.

Yep, another great idea that I certainly need more every day.

Guys just look somewhat hurt or in shock and your buds will pick up your bike for you generally only works once per ride so choose your crash with care
