The Chief Blackhawk swap meet starts on Thursday Aug 29 at 7 AM. This will make my 3rd trip to Iowa for this event.
One of the largest swap meets in the mid-west with acres of bikes and parts for sale.

Here are a few pictures from Davenport.

these pictures were taken early on the first day. Vendors can't set up until 7 am on Thursday, by noon it was packed. We used a couple of mopeds to get around, easier on the knees.

It was a fun trip. Doing the two lane farm roads thru rural Iowa and avoiding the interstate was fun and relaxing.
The swap meet was great, the vendors can't set up till 7AM on Thursday which is ok. You have to wonder where they find some of these old Harleys? Some look like there were dragged out of a swamp.
