Well it was bound to happen, I finally dumped the Z....er, well, I was dumped and the Z was dumped....and it wasn't even my fault! :D

I was in the parking garage at work, just pulled in and I park in a spot around the first turn that the building manager lets bikes park in and right after I round the corner and start to get the bike in position to get off and back it up I get dumped to the left of the bike and hit the ground.

I call Squidward and of course he tells me to pick it up. I look at it and thing "Hmmm, that is a heavy bike, darn!" Fortunately one of the managers in my department, who is also a Harley rider came to my aid and we managed to get the bike back up on it's wheels. THREE cars passed by me and no one stopped, UGH!!! TINY scuff on the can, clutch cover is scuff, pulled the turn signal off it's bracket....but not broken! and the bar end is scuffed, but no other damage, phew!

Well Squidward stopped by the parking garage after he gets off work and calls me to tell me he's there and the bike doesn't look that bad. Cool. I'm on my way to the parking garage. He stops then tells me not to be in a hurry, there's a SHEETMETAL SCREW in my back tire

We figured that was what caused me to fall because the tire is COMPLETELY flat, that sucks!

Fortunately Cycle Gear is having a 10% off sale this saturday so I can pick up a new tire, woot!

Until then I will be caging it, poo!

Plug it and ride... Bummer about the scratches and dings. Glad you were not injured!

doh... it had to happen, at least it was a no-speed tip over. Looks like that tire is almost new! No good getting screwed (*snicker*) when you have a decent amt of tread left.

Nico

Nahh, 'bout 10 bottles of tire goop, several hunnert more screws,= ICE RACING! WOO-HOO!
Umm... might be waiting a while for that around here lately. ulp..

That tire actually has about 4,500+ miles on it, they are AWESOME tires... :D

I'm not comfortable with patching a hole that a screw left, so I'll be back up and running soon...sucks that nice weather is coming, darnit!

Glad to hear the damage was just to the bike & not the rider. I hope you didn't get "screwed" on the price of the new tire?

Mark (igo-wfo) stopped by today to get a tool for his Futura and helped Squidward get my wheel back on my bike, from what I was hearing in the garage it was a PIA! :D

While he was here he did a little Futura-squidly burn out, hehe.
