Hello!
Thank you for having me here.
I am 56 and have been riding since I was 14.
I am Italian and toured all around Europe and North Africa (off-road but not too technical) for many years before moving to Texas about 6 years ago.
I started my new riding life here a year ago with a GS1200 Adv and recently switched to a Tenere 700.

Looking forward to meeting fellow Texan
riders and learn about the beauties of this wonderful country and hopefully make new friends.
Planning to start riding on some BDRs in the near future
In the meanwhile I try to improve my skills on single tracks in the Sam Houston forest but I still spend more time on the ground than I would like to šŸ˜‚
I live in The Woodlands and ready to ride with short notice!

Ciao Lambrusco and welcome to the site! I'm sure you will fit right in and find lots of like minded two wheeled addicts to ride with. I'm down in Fulshear, haven't done much off road stuff despite having a GS, mostly I'm looking for twisty tarmac.

I learned how to ride in Rome by the way. My Dad brought home a Garelli 50 back in the 60's - I was 13 or so and was soon learning my way around the city. Been riding ever since.

What a flashback ā€¦ I completely forgot about the Garelli
I learned on a Moto Morini Corsarino (four stroke 50cc) in the streets of Rome also. Once you learn in Rome your motorcycle survival skills are top notchā€¼ļø

Again, welcome to the forum!
The Hill Country 500 would be great.
Still waiting for my May schedule. Really hope to be part of the group.
Thanks for the info

Welcome to the site!

I am just up I-45 in Huntsville and specialize in short notice rides :-P There are tons of dirt roads up my way so you don't have to just ride the trails in the Sam Houston NF ;-)

Welcome to the site.
What a contrast from Italy to Texas, as far as riding opportunities.
