The 4 of us enroute to Colorado...18 hours of driving nonstop...
We ran into this couple in Lake City. They were riding from Delaware to Oregon via the TAT on an F650 and a stripped down 2008 R12GS. They had just performed a cannisterectomy on the F bike in the motel parking lot. They had GREAT attitudes. I sure hope I run across their ride report when they finish...
This was the scene I saw every day I departed to go ride the mountain trails...
And now, without further delay and in no particular order, motorcycles and mountains.....
Poughkeepsie Gulch. OMG! ! !
Black Bear Pass. I skipped this day after Poughkeepsie scared the crap out of me.
R & R after a great day of riding!!! You could not ask for a better group of guys to ride with. Mike, John, Mark and Scott - thanks for letting me tag along and especially for waiting for me on the rough spots
The only casualty of the trip...a flat rear. Scott rode on it all day all day long on day 1 and it only gave up the ghost on the last downhill stretch coming into Ouray. It's better to be lucky than good sometimes.
