Yeah I thought something fishy going on there also. Before I saw what he paid for it I was like "aren't these things pretty expensive?"
 

For those with deep pockets, 12500 firm. Nice upgrades but we know what they're worth most of the time. Anyway I look at it, it's a 2 year old bike!

Way too clean to have been in a barn. Would make a perfect bike for a new rider.
 
It may not be legal to sell unless it has the original bill of sale. A friend’s father in law passed who was a Royal Enfield dealer. Left bikes still in the crate. He couldn’t sell them without getting a dealer license.
 
Drunk Uncle, I want a Royal Enfeild still in the crate one ask your father in law, how much? and I will keep it in the crate
 
I’d be more worried that it was previously stolen.
If it has enough miles on it since recovered I wouldn't be too concerned. But still something to consider. He says he's the 2nd owner so I would presume it's been ridden.
