Craigslist/Facebook

IMO - it's worth less than nothing (pay to scrap it) - unless he wants to part it out and sell the bits that aren't damaged. That would take real effort.

They are cool bikes. I bought one for $2500 and resold it a couple years later for the same price. There seems to be cult following for them. It's a fun bike; but for a 600, it doesn't have a lot of grunt. They upgraded the engines for the European models and were up to 700 or 750 before being discontinued there.

Just like any other, depends if it's been maintained properly (oil and filter changes, air filter cleaning/replacement, valve clearance checked)

Just talked to the guy. It is still available. Text him.. I would love to have it but don't want to make the drive to McAllen.

Wasn't there someone in the Corpus area who did those conversions regularly?

There was a guy that put 650 Versys engines in them. He was on TWT at one time. KLRsys was user name. Here is an article featuring his bike.
