Cycleland ll

Amazing what's been done at new property! In March there wasn't anything, now a great campground, 60+ miles of ONEway trails, new entry road, and pavilion almost finished. Also I hear 190 members now!

Looks like a fun place that's not too difficult, even for a D rider. Wouldn't mind borrowing a bike for an afternoon at a place like that.

lol, it's well hidden. Actually most very challenging. I mean not every inch but its a pretty good test.
Was supposed to go down this coming weekend with chuck Moore and Jeff carpenter. But possible rain and haven't had time to get my new toy hauler rigged out. So looking like I'll have to wait till another time

Larry K. called Monday night, said he has his new Beta and is ready to ride. His dislocated elbow from our last is healed! He has the 300 Xtrainer lowered 2 INCHES! He seemed to jell with the bike pretty quickly. We rode 29 miles and I'm very sore this morning.

Soreness,,, that is what I am worried about when I go riding after my last back surgery. Did some work around the house yesterday and disgusted at my loss of fitness. Disgusted.

Glad to hear Larry healed up, he sat on my Beta after his elbow injury and said he might get one so guess he did

Now I'm out! lol. Maybe Saturday.

Mr. Rob, do your ride in the heat of the day or do you get up with the chickens to get there early?
That’s a couple hour drive for you to get there ain’t it?

ooops, sorry, I re-read your post with the monster photo and see 7-9.

Unfortunately I'm lazy, I get up very early but have my morning routine. So I usually try to get there between 9 and 10, just deal with it. Tomorrow they're starting at 8.
And yes it's 2 hours for me.
I'm going to sweat like a pig whenever I start.
@Shovelhead

well, I get up early, because I have to, in order to drink 3 cups coffee, eat a little something so I can take my pain meds, which is a must for me to get moving. Crappy ordeal, takes me about 2 hrs to attack the day….but as the kids say, it is what it is.

I want to check that Cycleland place out one of these days. When the heat index ain’t so high.
Have fun! Lots of water.
