He was probably having the trip of a lifetime.

Probably just a common theft killing thing , awful.
 
Plum Orchard is a really Bad neighborhood. My grandmother was from NO and I can still remember them telling me Not to go there.
The wife and I love to visit but there are many places we won't go. So sorry for this man and his family.
 
I love NOLA but you really do need to know where to stay away from.
How incredibly sad for his family and friends.
