Deegan snub?

I noticed after moto 3 as they pulled up after the race, no one pulled up by Deegs. No handshake, fist bump, nothing. Are they intimidated, jealous, or tired of his antics? Thinking he has no "friends" in the 250 class.
 
Maybe too much of this, lol! Think he had to slowdown so Kitchens could even see this. He's broke these guys.

most top athletes are humble - they know their window of glory is small. this is an example that might not fit well in the 450 class.

on a side note did you see Chase Sexton replay after winning last weekend? Who was in the background? one of our super nice - humble mx hero's from 70's - 80's - the Dunlap manager Broc Glover - now that is staying power :coffee:
 
I hope so, but who knows. He's like Dale Earnhardt.
 
Deegan is a thug, a punk, a spoiled brat, and a totally self absorbed little.....don't want Tourmeister to have to intervene here. :lol2:

There is no doubt that he is talented and competent as a racer...which in my opinion makes his behavior even worse. His parents must be terrible examples of parenthood. That incident with him and Joe Shimoda at the end of last season would have resulted in being charged with assault if you or I had done that in public...Texas Penal Code 22.02.

I can respect a certain level of aggressive driving/riding methods up to a point when racing, but this thing with Deegan isn't that. He's the kind of kid who probably tortured cats and other small animals when growing up. I hope he grows out of it, but I wouldn't put any money on it based on what I see from him now. I don't know, Rob...Dale Earnhardt pales in comparison IMO to this jerk. And Dale's competitors were at least in highly protective race cars with cages and harnesses...which even there as we all know are not bulletproof.
 
Excellent analysis! He indeed has incredible racing skills, and obviously puts in the work, but his punk, A-hole attitude will never make me a fan. When past racers such as Barcia or Anderson rode like this, they were penalized heavily, and had to clean up their game. Unfortunately though, Deegan appeals to the new era of punk kids out there, and the AMA makes a lot of money off of them, so they are too cowardly to step in. Hopefully, the 450 boys will step up and enforce what they are unwilling to do.

Mainly the comparison to DE as the intimidator. And no doubt the 250 guys are feeling it. Rather the big boys fall prey to it, yet to be seen!

Agreed. In reality his(deegan) actions show a serious level of insecurity. I question his "outgrowing" that issue; history has shown that to be very difficult for many.
