Doing hardcore rides on bikes that weren’t meant for it

Gotcha! You get stuck in the bottom there?

Fell over twice right about where the bike is sitting. The front locked in a loose patch the first time and I didn't get with momentum going before starting to tip over and not finding ground with my foot the second time. Picture was taken between the two tip overs IIRC. In retrospect, I should taken the line in the other side of the track. I could've gone over the roots and it seemed more solid over there.

Wouldn't call my hard-core but was on sandy single track alone when front tucked on 500# bike. Not my best memories. And it was hot. I've done this many times without issue. Guess I was due.

Lot of hard cores out there! Way to go "humanrace".

My wife and I tent camped through Europe in 1975 on a 250cc Jawa (single cylinder two-stroke). Ten weeks, 6,000 miles, camped all but 4 nights. We did mostly small highways, but got onto Autobahns and Autostradas a couple of times with Mercedes and BMWs flying past. Our top speed was about 55 mph. Every morning we would pack the tent, pack our gear into two backpacks wrapped in plastic sheets, and strap it all on like saddlebags.

In 1993 I rode my 1989 Suzuki GS500E that had clip-ons from Ft Huachuca AZ about 2,700 miles back home to NJ in 5 days. I could barely walk for a week after I got home. lol

Doesn't always end well. Lol

@humanrace i too grew up in Ft Worth just a few miles from Carswell. I have done some silky stuff. Rode a Buell X1 Lightning from Hood to Deals Gap and back. Used my half of my Army issued shelter half as a lean to camping there. We did get that camp fire hot enough to burn glass beer bottles!!!

Two times I was able to :photo:

Here it is on the trail of the dragon, but I only have pictures of the gas receipts for the saddlesore and they aren’t very exciting 😂
