Eateries for Saturday Ride--Breakfast & Lunch

J-Dawg and I are riding over to Hallettsville on Saturday to pick up his new truck plates. We would like to find a place to have breakfast and lunch. Here's our route.

SW Houston to Hallettsville via Hwy 90A
Hallettsville to Mouton
Mouton to Gonzales
Gonzales to Freyburg
Freyburg to LaGrange
La Grange to Weimer
Weimer back home

We'd like to eat breakfast in East Bernard or Eagle Lake
Lunch would be somewhere in the Schulenburg or Weimer area or in between

Eagle Lake - Blessing Hotel...I think that is the name of the place downtown there
Winchester - Murphy's steakhouse

Can;t go wrong with Murphy s in Winchester.
A couple of us are dining there tomorrow after bike maint work.They open at 11 untill 9pm. Get there well before 5 pm or wait in line.
