(the internationally famous hunting/ motorcycle offroad riding ranch) in Coahuila northern Mexico. They treat you like a king. The best for private access to some of the best desert motorcycle riding in the area.

A little history on the ranch name...The creek behind the ranch house is called “El Caballo” Creek…There is a well in the middle of the Creek where they get water for the house…According to legend - the main road has been around since early 1800’s (maybe more!) - Indians would use the main road for trade and the Ranch was a spot they would water their horses at…So, over the years the spot became know as “El Chupadero del Caballo”…the closest translation that doesn’t sound weird would be: “The Horse watering hole”. Over the years people would just say “El Chupadero” for short.

Oct 21 Eight guys

Oct 23 After sleeping late and eating a delicious home cooked breakfast, we rode to Cerro Nevado (a stunning scenic campsite) where we enjoyed chimney grilled cheese burgers by our host Beto and his ranch hands who are also available in route assistance, emergency extraction etc etc. That night we were amazed to a clear view of the Milky Way and the most stars in the sky, comparable to Big Bend night skies.

Oct 24 Again after sleeping to a restful, cool, starry night, we enjoyed a slow scenic mostly class 2 ride, with a few class 3 rock garden sections. Getting back to Beto's Offroad Ranch, we enjoyed fish for lunch and steak for dinner. Beto's infamous motto is "No one goes hungry... on my watch "

This was the second time I have been to Beto‘s ranch with Zeke and our group. The first time was two years ago. Beto has a massive ranch located 75 miles SW of Acuna. He and his crew are gracious hosts and the experience of riding the beautiful and desolate desert is one of a kind. our group has put together lots of GPS tracks and will be happy to share them with anyone wanting to visit and ride El Chupudero. Three days of riding and camaraderie!
Thank you Zeke for organizing this event and thank you to Beto and El Chuperdero Ranch for hosting us.

If Mark is posting it must be awesome. Great pics.

Did you pay an entrance fee or daily fee ? Per meal ?
There's a per day fee if staying overnight $125 which includes a gas fillup plus bfast and dinner, bed, shower and getting treated like a King. Alcohol or any other special requests extra but almost at cost. Extremely affordable especially for the remoteness you are in, those amenities aren't easily available anywhere. And they available for emergency extraction etc. And excellent offroad scenic desert trails.

Another (my 2nd one) sweet trip to Beto's Rancho El Chupadero (https://www.ranchomx.com)... thanks Beto & Zeke!

Beto is an awesome guy, a great host and an even better local history / storyteller. His ranch team knows exactly what to do as they are used to feeding & hosting hunters, we dual sport / dirt bikers are far easier for the ranch to host - no getting up at 4-5am, no cleaning deer, etc. This is the real deal in terms of seeing a working Rancho, as the resident cowboys are working every day. I enjoy not having to make decisions on which restaurant, what time to meet, etc. - at Beto's you just go ride, get clean-up, socialize, have a drink and the next thing you know you're being called for a fantastic group dinner.

A few brain dump memories of this trip:
- Running in to Beto (w/ cold beers in his truck) at dark thirty near the ranch on our way in from Del Rio
- Mark, very wisely, suggesting we call Sean & have him pick up more beer on his way in (despite all of us pre-ordering what we thought we needed), which we did
- Great meals (every single one)
- The Goat Herder's chicken dish... Beto's Grandmother's recipe
- Front Flats... at least 5 (Tim 3, Mike 1 & Dao 1)
- Sean and Beto beating us to the mine by truck... what the ****!??! - - 'oh ya Sean was both driving & partying pretty hard & early that day :)
- Camping at the old Goat Herders house... complete w/ grilled burgers & cold beer (unexpected & far better than than the camp food that we'd all brought)
- Dao falling asleep at the dinner table &/or slipping off just after dinner a couple of nights (the Dao was Down...)
- Zeke rallying, quite impressively, late at night at the Goat Herder casa... and that night the Dao was UP late
- Mike, the interesting world traveling former Texas Over 50 MX Champ in 2015, just "out cruising and just taking in the scenery" on his T7
- Tim and I being stopped in a vacant ghost village by four armed hombres in black, but they quickly let us move on after asking "where we were going, coming from, where'd we sleep and repeatedly WHY were we out there...."
- Thinking that Tim (who had been riding just behind me at a brisk pace) must have had a wreck, took a wrong turn, etc. when he seemed to go "missing" - I back tracked ~5 miles w/ no joy... only to find out that he'd slipped ahead of me somehow (surprise surprise) and was already back at the ranch taking a shower
- Good routes (thanks Chris / Zeke); good comradery (thanks all); missing Danny (F1) & Chris (work); quite a few bike falls, but zero injuries; no major mechanical failures (just mucho front flats)
- Dao saying "haven't y'all EVER seen scratched plastic before what's the big deal"
- Zeke not having to take a local Rancho truck to the Del Rio hospital, and then a medivac helicopter to San Antonio, like the last time we'd headed back to Del Rio
- Beto suggesting on the last night "maybe you guys should consider ordering more alcohol next time" - as we pretty much drank every drop
- Picking the wrong line, and not lane cutting deep enough in, and having to wait a solid hour to cross @ the border

A shorter recap: Another great bike trip South of the Border with good friends & a great host - awesome! Consider taking your crew down to Rancho El Chupadero to enjoy some of Beto's genuine down home Mexico hospitality & local history: https://www.ranchomx.com/4x4-offroading-adventure-riding

Y'all did good posting this up. :thumb:

RANCHO CHUPADERO ,imo, is like the Club Med for TX ADV and d/s. They will take care of all your needs so your precious time is spent on the ADV and D/S riding and viewing experiences. The dirt riding here is also one of the FEW raw, rugged, natural dirt riding areas that's big bike friendly. GS1250, Super Tenere, Strom 1100 , no probs out here. BTW...Beto speaks perfect english, so there's no need to worry about language translation, etc...

Here's some of my pics:
