That's awesome, on my part if I didn't ride above 80* I'd be out of luck. Being poor has disadvantages, lol.

Took the big girl out frollicking through all the tight trees. As usual, Emma did NOT disappoint!:rider:

Wait Dao didn't you also used to have a cb1100? How many of the same bikes do we have?

Also how was the 690 out there? I'm too cowardly to try.

Riding tomorrow 12/31 around 10 am. First ride on my new electric bike. Might be doing some suspension adjustments.

Right here....
is where I once came up to this guy who was on a BMW F 800 GS
PXL-20231108-165628974.jpg

I asked him if he's ridden here before. He didn't answer, so I told him to get off his bike so i can show him the line to take going down on that
behemoth of his. There's only ONE LINE - 6" wide" - to go down the triple, quad steps w/o endo'ing, and it's not that obvious.
When I saw the whites of his eyes watering...I knew he was WAY OVER HIS HEAD.
I then showed him the escape route (again, not obvioous) on the left.
I love emma!

Just did a Wed ride. Saw pink tape on a few routes.
Looks like Emma will be closed for a trials event on Feb 24th weekend.
So no riding.

I was out there this afternoon as well, clearing that big downed tree out of the creek at the E-W trail crossing. I had noticed on Monday when out there that debris was building up in the branches and beginning to dam up the creek. Natural creek flow is now restored. :thumb:

Alright we've got some wetness in the dirt today and tomorrow, looks like it's gonna warm up this weekend. Anybody down to go ride Emma? Never done it before so I'd like to try my first time.

I am a fellow EL virgin, but would be down anytime other than this weekend. It’s race weekend and we’re gonna go git sum. Keep me in mind for next time.

Don't recommend the first time is done while the trail is slippery. The roots and slick rock make it even more of a challenge.
It can be done but not recommended. Try dry first. I would love to give you a tour sometime. I know it well.

Truth!

I've been riding there for over 20 years and STILL avoid riding if there's any chance of the ledges being wet, or even damp for that matter.

There's also several sneaky slicky clay spots on flat trail sections that can catch you by surprise. One jumped up and bit me a couple years ago that resulted in a dislocated elbow.
