We have recently listed our lovely homestead on HomeAway/VRBO. To get our ratings up, we need bookings and good reviews. So, for this weekend only, we are offering this home for only $50 a night*.

Same end of house.
Master with private bath opens to back via French door or to hall. Bedroom 2 is across hall from master with bedroom 3 across hall from common/guest bathroom

Waco area and lively are not words often used together. The Silos and things Magnolia are about as exciting as things get around here. But I will send you some suggestions later on.

Kids? no idea really, but...

Cameron Park Zoo, Texas Ranger Museum, the Mammoth park, Dr Pepper museum, Mayborn Museum on Baylor, Hawaiian Falls water park

Live music
The Backyard, Waco Winery Rooftop, both Fuzzy's taco usually have live music on weekends. Johnny Rodriguez at the Hippodrome....

I'm sure there are more, but that may get you started.

Thanks for the suggestions. The baby sitter is in France for the summer so it's us +2. The will love it. We are planning to do the homestead heritage place and the Texas ranger museum. Dr pepper is an extra or an alternative. We are not overly lively people so we don't need much. Just good food and decent environment. We are looking forward to it.
