Man I missed a lot being a working stiff,cannot wait till I have a chance to get Saturday off so I can visit with more of the TWT family. Had tons of stuff I wanted to talk about but was a tad tuckered out after working 60 hours that week. On the map it looks so close but like normal it always takes a hour extra to get there. We agreed we like Garner over Lost Maples park. Next time we go we will spend more time there. Missed getting to ride this weekend in the sisters with you guys and gals. Next time I will make darn sure that I am sick Saturday so that I can have more time to do what I like to do best. Ride and camp with friends. See you next trip. See you all at Sissys in December. KP

Not yet, I tried to talk thumper_tx into selling his old, wobbly WR, but he wasn't taking the bait. I'm hoping someone will accept a trade for my Alfa.

A big thanks for setting this up and to those that did the cooking and lead the rides. This was our first time riding the sisters and it was great. I can't wait to get out there again. Garner looks like a nice park. I wish we would have had more time to do some hiking.

We are looking forward to the next campout!
 
It was great to put faces to names and talk with y'all. Nina (did I spell that right?) and I spent almost 4 hours talking philosophy and politics and psychology. Zephyr gave me a great idea for a handle on the bmw so one day I might actually be able to put it on its center stand on my own. The food was excellent, and it looks like I'll be eating zucs, onions, and peppers for the next week solid since I didn't get there in time to actually cook them for everyone. Hopefully next time!

Since Rod couldn't get his GS up after it took a bath in a slimy creek crossing until he found some help at a nearby camp, I volunteered Carl to show us how it's done. Carl didn't hesitate. After the lesson was over, everybody agreed that help still would have been handy while standing in wet, slimy algae.

Four TWT bikes parked at the Bent Rim Grill in Leakey. Since I was riding the oldest bike (Grey 1985 K100 RS), I got to ride sweep on our tour of the Twisted Sisters. Steve and Ryan slowed down on the straights to let me catch up.
